I'm Kristen, the proud owner and a therapy provider at Renewed Foundations Counseling Services. I'm thrilled to welcome you to our counseling space! In July 2022, I turned a long-held dream into reality by establishing this practice where individuals can find support and guidance on their path to personal growth and well-being.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I hold a master's degree in professional counseling from the University of West Georgia. Additionally, I am a certified professional counselor supervisor and able to provide supervision and training to associate level counselors seeking full licensure as well as individuals who are in their internship portion of their master's program.

My journey in this field began in 2009, and throughout the years, my passion has centered around helping individuals recognize their capabilities and evolve into the best versions of themselves.

In my experience, I've discovered that we all harbor the potential to achieve our aspirations. However, the impact of past and recent traumas often manifest as obstacles on our journey. This realization fuels my commitment to assisting you in overcoming challenges, navigating hardships, and working towards your goals.

At Renewed Foundations Counseling Services, we specialize in utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Humanistic Therapy approaches. These evidence-based practices are powerful tools that empower individuals to transform their lives. CBT focuses on identifying and modifying negative thought patterns, while Humanistic Therapy emphasizes personal growth, self-actualization, and the inherent goodness within each person.
