What is therapy, and how can it help me?

Therapy is a collaborative process where you work with a trained professional to explore and address challenges in your life. It can help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and improve your overall well-being.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can benefit anyone dealing with life challenges, stress, mental health issues, or seeking personal growth. If you're considering therapy, it's a positive step toward self-care and improvement.

What can I expect in a therapy session?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes, and the therapist will create a safe and confidential space for you to talk about your concerns. The approach may vary, but the focus is on understanding and addressing your unique needs.

How long does therapy take?
The duration varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients find relief in a few sessions, while others choose longer-term therapy for ongoing support and personal development.

Is everything discussed in therapy confidential?

Confidentiality is a crucial aspect of therapy. Information shared during sessions is kept private, with few exceptions (like imminent harm to oneself or others). Your therapist will discuss confidentiality in detail during your first session.

How do I choose the right therapist for me?

Consider factors such as the therapist's expertise, approach, and whether you feel comfortable with them.

Do you offer virtual (online) therapy sessions?
Yes, we offer virtual sessions for those who prefer or require remote therapy. Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions.

How much does therapy cost, and do you accept insurance?
Fees vary, and insurance coverage depends on your plan. We can discuss fees and insurance during the initial session.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
Life happens, and if you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellation fees may apply for sessions that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
